"William Ward, and Abigail, his wife, were married December 31, 1689. He was a Selectman in Newton several years, and as late as 1722; and perhaps moved away soon after. They had, at Newton, a son named John, born February 23, 1690-1, who married Deborah."

William married Abigail Spring 31 December 1689 at Newton, Massachusetts. Newton Town Records: "Upon ye 31 of December 1689 I maryed in my house at Watertown William Ward and Abigail Spring both of Cambridge village, with ye consent of friends, ye being published according to law ye Deputy Govenour Danforth was present."
William and Abigail were the parents of one child: John, as documented in the Newton Vital Records. The Find A Grave Memorial Biography for William notes "There is no documented evidence William and Abigail had additional children."
William died 23 January 1752 at Newton, Massachusetts at the age of 87.

"William Ward, born November 19, 1664, in Newton, Mass., died January 23, 1752 in Newton. He married December 31, 1689, in Newton, Abigail Spring, sister of the wife of his brother John, born February 20, 1667, in Watertown, Mass., died May 29, 1742.
He was a selectman in Newton, 1707, 1712, and 1722, moving later to Roxbury, Mass., and thence to Waltham, Mass. in 1737.
Child:
