- MR. JOHN TURNBULL.
- On Thursday last, at Grafton, the death occurred of Mr. John Turnbull, aged 76 years, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Turnbull, of Kempsey. Born on the Hawkesbury River, deceased came to the Macleay with his parents when about 16 years of age. He leaves a son, Mr. John B. F. Turnbull (Bonville), while Messrs. Joseph (Bowra ville), James (Austral Eden), Henry (Singleton), Ralph (Kempsey) and George Davis Turnbull (Euroka) are brothers of deceased, and Miss Martha Ann Turnbull (South West Rocks) is a sister. The body was brought by train to Kempsey on Wednesday, and taken to the Methodist Church, Euroka, where on Thursday a service was conducted by Rev. P. O. Davis, who also officiated at the graveside. Mr. Jos. T. Walker had charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Percy Betts officiated at the organ during the service at the church.
