Biography
Our community is again in sorrow over the death of Sanford Tunnicliff, which occurred at his late home on Thursday evening at 11 o'clock. He was very ill last fall, but recovered so that he was about the house and went to his farm a few times. This spring he had a severe attack of grip and in his weakened condition succumbed to the disease. His funeral was held on Monday at 10 a. m., Rev. Claude Soares of Richfield Springs officiating. Interment in the family plot in the Springfield Center Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Jennie Ellis Tunnicliff, and one daughter, Harriette; also one sister, Mrs. Amand Minkler." [1]
