Note: date from death info, Harry later added: illegitimate son of Alison Moffat of Melrose by farmer Hugh Stephenson from East Lothian. ^[1][2][3]

Died 31 DEC 1863. Darnick, Par. of Melrose, Roxburghshire, Scotland.

Note: aged, 58, illegitimate s/o Alison Moffat, out worker, reputed father Hugh Stephenson, teacher (actually farmer). ^[4]

Note: #60: Broken stone on ground. Erected by their children in affectionate remembrance of ROBERT STEVENSON who died 30.12. 1862 aged 57 years and ISABELLA WIGHT his wife who died at Eilistone.? 16.10.1871 aged 66 years. ^[7][8]
