Biography

Mamie was born in 1875, the child of Jasper Smith and Dulcena Moss.^[1]

Her parents both passed away when she was a child and she was raised by her grandparents William Moss and Mary Gholston. She appears in their home in the 1880 census.^[2]

She passed away in 1966 and is buried in Pine Hill cemetery in Chilton County AL. ^[3]
