Biography
Jane was born in 1857, the daughter of Joseph Schmitt and Mary Pequignot, Her mother died in 1862 - maternal Uncle Andrew Pequignot served as her guardian and released on June 17, 1875, just before Jennie turned 18, (Schmitt family file p. 4). In 1875, she married James Parker in Peru, Illinois, USA. She passed away about 1937.
