When Stanley Sinton was born on 16 October 1912, in Hobsonville, Auckland, New Zealand, his father, Alexander Robert Sinton, was 42 and his mother, Ellen Jane Wallace, was 38.[1]
He married Iris Adeline Bridgford on 16 December 1939, in Hobsonville, Auckland, New Zealand.[2] They were the parents of at least 1 son.
He registered for military service in 1939.[3]
He died on 30 August 1972, in Auckland, New Zealand, at the age of 59,[4] and was cremated 2 September 1972 and buried 11 September 1972 in the Waikumete Cemetery, Glen Eden, Auckland, New Zealand. Service Persons Ash Burial Area K, Row 3A, Plot 141[5]
