1/ A Thomas Sinton, born Roxburgh circa 1770, is found in the 1851 census at Laggan, Invernessshire. He is 81 years old, a widower and farmer of 26 Acres employing 4 labourers In And Out. With him are 2 daughters, a son, grand-daughter and 4 servants. [3]
