William Sinclair was born in 1520 in Scotland, son of Sir John (Sinclair) Sinclair Third Earl of Caithness (~1495 - 1529) and Elizabeth (Sutherland) Sutherland Countess of Caithness (1488 - 1535)

William died in 1527 aged ~7.

Research Notes

The Sinclair and Sutherland families are so intermarried that most Sinclair Lairds pre 1800 are also ancestors of Sutherland families and vice versa.
