See 1900 US Census source that says he was born in Massachusetts, (both his parents born in Scotland), in June of 1858.

See 1910 US Census source that says he was born in Massachusetts and 52yrs old in 1910.

See 1930 US Census source that says he was born in Massachusetts and 71yrs old in 1930.

EMPLOYMENT:

See 1900 US Census source that says in 1900 he was employed as a "carpenter."

See 1910 US Census source that says in 1910 he was employed as a "jeweler - watch maker."

CENSUS':

The 1900 US Census of Conway, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this Alexander Sinclair at the age of 41yrs old and given as a "carpenter," born in Massachusetts and married for 17yrs. He is living there in Conway in a residence he is renting, with his 41yr old wife, Ophelia and their three of their children; 10yr old Hazel I., 7yr old Ruth C. and 3yr old Ralph C.^[1]

The 1910 US Census of Conway, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this Alexander Sinclair at the age of 52yrs old and given as a widowed "jeweler in his own store," born in Massachusetts. He is living there in Conway in a home he owns on Ashfield Rd. with three of his daughters; 20yr old Hazel I., 17yr old Ruth C. and 13yr old Jeannette B. NOTE: In 1900 US Census the last child was given as Ralph C. Very odd.^[2]

The 1930 US Census of Conway, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this Alexander Sinclair at the age of 71yrs old and given as a "jeweler - watch maker," born in Massachusetts. He is living there in Conway in the household of his 31yr old son-in-law, Merton R. who is living there with this Alexander's daughter, Jeannette B. as his wife. Also living in the household and Merton and Jeannette's three children; 9yr old Merton D., 6yr old Marion and 1yr, 6-month old Eleanor.^[3]
