She is living there in Conway on Ashfield Rd. with her 52yr old father, Alexander Sinclair and her two younger sisters; 17yr old Ruth C. and 13yr old Jeanette B. NOTE: Jeanette B. was given as Ralph C. in the 1900 US Census.^[4]

The 1920 US Census of Shelburne, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this Hazel I. at the age of 30yrs old and given as born in Massachusetts. She is living there in Shelburne at 109 Bridge St. with her 29yr old husband, Howard L. Amsden.^[5]

The 1930 US Census of Shelburne, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this person given as Hazel "S." at the age of 40yrs old and born in Massachusetts. She is living there in Shelburne at 25 High St. with her 39yr old husband, Howard L. Amsden.^[6]

The 1940 US Census of Shelburne, Franklin, Massachusetts finds this Hazel at the age of 50yrs old and given as born in Massachusetts. She is living there in Shelburne at 15 High St. with her 49yr old husband, Howard Amsden and their 16yr old niece, Marian Lee.^[7]

Mrs. Hazel Amsden

SHELBURNE FALLS- Mrs. Hazel (Sinclair) Amsden, 87, of 89 Main St., died Sunday in a local nursing home. Born in Conway, she lived in Shelburne Falls for 60 years. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kirsch of Conway and Mrs. Howard Sibley of Shelburne Falls. Graveside services will be in Arms cemetery.^[8]
