Elizabeth Theodora (Schwan) Brandscheid has German Roots.

Elizabeth Theodora (Schwan) Brandscheid is one of twins.

Elizabeth Theodora met Casper Brandscheid, at Armidale, New South Wales, where she was living at the time. They were married at Armidale in 1879.^[2]
Over the next twenty-two years, Elizabeth and Casper had eleven known children, five daughters, and six sons. Sadly, not all lived to adulthood:

The family resided for a while at Kelly's Plains, and also at Hillgrove – where Casper seems to have been interested in mining (something that appears to have passed down to at least one grandson). Later, after the birth and death of their youngest daughter, Maud, so soon after losing daughter Ruby only the year before, the family moved to Booyong. Some while later again, there was another move, this time to Byron Bay, where they lived from about 1913.

Elizabeth Theodora Brandscheid née Schwan passed away in 1933, at Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, aged 73 years.^[3]
