Casper Ambrose Brandscheid migrated from Herzogtum Nassau to the Colony of New South Wales in 1855.
He emigrated to Australia at age 2-years, travelling aboard the Aurora with his family, and arriving on the 31st March 1855, after which they settled in New South Wales.[1]
On the 14th June 1878, he swore allegiance to the Crown, renouncing any previous allegiances, thus being recorded as a naturalised citizen.[2]
Casper Ambrose Brandscheid passed away on the 5th February 1936, in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia, and was interred in the Byron Bay Cemetery, Byron Bay.[3]
