Biography
Charles was born about 1800 in Orwell, Kinross. [1]
He married Janet Westwater 20 May 1820 in Auchterderran, Fife. [2]
He was enumerated in the 1851 Scotland Census living at Lesliehead, Burntisland. He was a 51 year old agricultural labourer born in Orwell, Kinross. Living with him were his son, Charles aged 19 and an agricultural labourer and his daughter Janet, aged 3. [1]
By 1861, Charles and Janet were living on their own still at Lesliehead, Burntisland. They were both 61 years old and Charles was now a farm labourer. [3]
He passed away in 1877 in Burntisland, Fife. Mother's name was Bissett. [4]
