Note: John was a member of the New Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church. There is a John Robertson listed as the administrator on the estate of Joel Jackson, March 3,1828, Wilkinson County, Georgia. That can not be this John unless I have his date of birth ( 1818 ) much later than it really was, as he would not be of age. There is also a John Robinson on the 1840 Wilkinson County census, but he can not be our John as he is married and has three children. Our John did not get married until 1841, and is still living with his father Alexander on the 1840 census.

In Wilkinson County Court of Ordinary Minute Book A, June Term 1856, James Deese and Epsey Robertson have Letter of Adminsitration on the Estate of John A. Robertson.
