Biography

Youngest child of William Ristine Robe and Mary Jessimah Bowen.

Roy was born in North Liberty, Adams, Ohio.^[1]

Married Ida May Poole 19 Oct 1898 in Granite Falls, Snohomish, Washington.^[2] She was the daughter of David Poole and Jennie J. Fox.

In 1900 Roy and Ida were married and living with his parents' family in Granite Falls, Washington.^[3]

Father of Sybil Avis (Robe) Poolman Leese. Sybil was born 12 May 1900 in Granite Falls, Washington.^[4]

In 1910 Roy and Ida and daughter Sybil were living in Granite Falls, Washington.^[5]

By 1920 the family had moved to Everett. Roy was a confectionery salesman.^[6]

In 1930 Roy was a truck driver for an auto freight company.^[7]

Roy married Kathryn O. La Freniere 2 Dec 1939 in Snohomish County, Washington.^[8]

Roy operated a tavern on Berkshire drive west of present Evergreen Way (Highway 99) near Peck's Drive.

In 1940 Roy and Katherine were living in the Beverly Hills District of Everett. Their home was on Fleming Drive one block west of Evergreen Way.^[9]
