Biography

He built many of the early houses in Granite Falls, Washington, some of which remain today.

Patricia Lee Hilscher told me (Margaret Robe Summitt) via phone 4 Dec 1997 that Alexander Campbell Robe was very religious (Presbyterian) and would only let his daughters read the Bible on Sundays. So they would go over to their cousins' house, where the parents were not so strict, and play cards.
