1901 Scotland Census has William listed as a Butcher, and residing at 116 Montgomery Street Edinburgh, with his wife Agnes and sons William and James/
1911 census shows William Living in the village of New Pentland at Loanhead with wife Agnes and their seven children. He was then a Dairy Farmer on his own account.
His wife Agnes' Stat Death in 1919 list them as residing at 263 Dalkieth Road, Edinburgh
Williams Stat Death 30/7/1939 list his residence as 31 Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh, and the informant was his son J.D. Richardson of the same address. He died of senility and myocarditis.
