Biography

James was baptised on 1 June 1795 at Barningham, Yorkshire, the son of Thomas and Hannah Richardson.^[1]

Research Notes

Possible marriage to Margaret Wilson at Eston, Yorkshire, 27 May 1827. James is said to be of Aycliffe, Durham, on the marriage entry, but subsequent censuses for the couple show his birthplace as Newsham, where his family came from.^[2]
