Biography

William Richardson was born in about 1824 in Godalming. He was the son of James and Rebecca Richardson. He was christened on 11 Apr 1824 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Godalming (Anglican). His family's address was given as Ockford Lane, and his father's occupation as bricklayer.

William became a bricklayer. He married Eliza Browne in 1846 in Guildford district.

William died in 1870 at his home in Farncombe, aged 46. He was buried on 21 Dec 1870 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.
