Molly, you have connected a Jean as the daughter of Thomas Wilson b. 1700. Wrong Thomas Wilson. There were two Thomas Wilsons living in the Carlisle area in the early 1700s. One was "creek" Thomas, an attorney, who was Jean's father and lived in the Juniata River area. The one you have attached Jean to is my ancestor, "mountain" Thomas, who lived in West Pennsborough. Easy mistake to make. Please correct.

Hi Molly,

You added Susannah (Fitch) Segar (1658-) as a child of Joseph Fitch (1627-bef.1727) but I'm not seeing a reliable source for the relationship. Is she mentioned in his will? If so, we need a citation that gives us that information. Pre-1700 profiles, as I'm sure you know, need reliable sources when we connect relationships.

Also, the Find-a-Grave doesn't have the newest information on the York family. Here is the link to read the newest information: https://www.dropbox.com/s/97cw2a6gwjyn8r6/Revised%20Timeline%20Draft%20v1.02.pdf?dl=0&save_as=true&save_as_action=JPG especially look on pages 14, 15 and 74

Hi Molly, Henry York was the son of Jeremiah's second wife rather than his first wife Sarah Wilson, the first wife Sarah Wilson died in about 1726, so Henry couldn't have been her son. New information shows Jeremiah married about 1726 to Elisabeth, so Henry would be her son.

Hello Molly,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
