The assumption has been made that she was Isabel Prescott, who married a John Rigby in Wigan, Lancashire, England, on 30 May 1639. John was living in Standish parish at the time. John and Isabel had two children: Dorothy, baptized on 15 October 1640, and Edward, baptized on 10 February 1641/2, both in Standish parish.[1] The Dorchester baptism record of Elizabeth Rigby, assumed to have been the child of John Rigby, says it was on 3 March 1637/8. These records show that John and Isabel (Prescott) Rigby were a different couple than the one who immigrated to New England.

I'm trying to find any scholarly source that refers to the maiden name of Isabel as "Prescott." Neither Pope or Torrey give her maiden name.
"Fisher Genealogy" (although mistaken about the given name of his first wife) does not give surname of Isabel but calls her "widow of Edward Breck."
"English Ancestry of Joshua and Anthony Fisher" calls her Isabel ____ (Rigby) Breck
Does anyone know of a scholarly source that gives her maiden name of "Prescott?"
Are there any objections to removing the surname "Prescott" and replacing it with Unknown?
I have tried to get this profile straight for a long time since there are many managers and I have time restraints right now I am removing myself from profile. Thanks.
Does the FamilySearch source (on the profile) indicate that this Isabel with the last name at birth of "Prescott" was the wife of John Rigby, Edward Breck and Anthony Fisher?
Rigby-427 and Prescott-72 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be the same person - sames date of death, spouses. I adopted this profile and have listed sources that support this information.
Rigben-1 and Prescott-72 appear to represent the same person because: Working on unconnected profile list. This profile was originally connected as wife of Anthony Fisher before his merge Feb 4,2014(Fisher 2364 into Fisher 421). At that time her LNAB was recorded as Rigben which was not correct. Upon the merge of Anthony Fisher profile this profile became unconnected. In each unconnected profile on my watchlist, a profile has become unconnected due to a merge. Please review and merge. Thankyou! Amy :)
Prescott-75 and Prescott-560 appear to represent the same person because: When all freely available sources are considered, it is most evident that Isabel was born Prescott, married 1st John Rigby (Rigby-18, Rigby-21, Rigby-25, Rigby-29, Rigby-389, & Rigbee-1) and moved w/ him from England to Mass and w/ whom she had 4 children: Mehitable Turner (Rigby-23); Abigail Holman (Rigby-22 & Rigby-28); Elizabeth Atherton (Rigby-20) & Samuel Rigby (Rigby-26 & Rigbee-2). She later married Edward Breck (Breck-6) with whom she had 2 children: Mary Breck (Breck-26) & John Breck (Breck-12). Finally she married Anthony Fisher (Fisher-421) on 11-14-1663 with whom it seems she had no childen.
I therefore suggest merging each of her 5 profiles (Prescott-72, Prescott-75, Prescott-560, Rigby-48, & UNKNOWN-38398) into Prescott-72 as it is the oldest of her true LNAB profiles.

I went to FamilySearch and could not find any records for an Elizabeth Prescott who was married to Rigby, Breck, or Fisher.
However, it is "telling" to note that Edward Breck and his 1st wife Mary had 5 children who were born at Prescott, Lancashire, England.
My guess is that some researcher, somewhere needed a last name and decided to make it Prescott.
According to New England Historic and Genealogical Record (NGHGR) her last name is unknown.
