Benjamin Runyan #A099948[3]: Benjamin Runyan is a proven patriot, however, this record has been misattributed to the incorrect Benjamin Runyan. I have not yet submitted an application to correct his record. He served for the duration of the Revolution, however, he lived in Canada for many years after the war so his patriotism is in question. To find out more about Benjamin's life view the attached presentation. https://my.visme.co/view/010qd399-benjamin-runions

Thank you for replying to the Military and War check in, Dee. The leader will remove your badge. Remember if you find the time and interest you are welcome to rejoin the project. Just go to g2g and answer the posting with an ANSWER..
Welcome to the Runion Name Study which is a part of the One Name Study Project. Congratulations on your Y-DNA results linking you to Benjamin Runyon. I am eager to hear more of what you discover! Let me know if you need any help.
A Y DNA test came through this morning from a 6xg grandson of Benjamin Runions. The Y DNA test verifies our line does descend from Vincent Rongnion and therefore we are related to all of the Runyan/Runyon's of New Jersey and those that migrated south.

Hi, Dee. I gave you the New Netherland badge. Please review our project pages, if you haven't done so already, and add new_netherland to your Followed Tags list (look under the "Add" tab for that feature).
Thank you so much for responding to our check-in for the Miltary and War Project.
We are sorry to hear that you are not currently active, but we understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.
On behalf of the Military and War Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members.
First, we want to thank you for your past participation in the Military and War Project. We appreciate your desire to honor your ancestors for their service to their countries, or even for your own service, wherever in the world. We hope that your membership has enhanced your WikiTree experience.
Please let me know if you are still active. and if so, in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.
Hi, just a few things to pass along about categories....
When you name an AncestryDNA circle category, please add a space after the comma. I have renamed two of the categories already. See the red ones on this page?
Also, after naming these categories, they are "red" because they are not categories yet. They need a parent category. Please add Category:AncestryDNA Circles as the parent category to your AncestryDNA circle categories.
Just one more thing: the category AncestryDNA circles is a top level category and should be removed from this profile.
Thank you for all you do at WikiTree.
Natalie, Categorization
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
Great start, were the Member How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?
Clicking your green tags shows members who follow that tag. Add tags other family surnames, for locations - US_HISTORY for all states and Interests. The more tags you add the more links to community & research options Information on tags is on page one of the How To pages.
We want to help you learn about the site and the community, hopefully you found the pages and links useful. I have page one bookmarked for reference page

I don't think I've been active in the Military and War Project sin the last 6 months with the exception of correcting a couple of Civil War stickers.
