entry #646 on the register of births and baptisms reads: Jemima Parker daughter of William Parker and of Charlotte his wife, of the Parish of Braintree in the County of Essex born on the twenty seventh day of February 1794 was baptized on the seventh day of August 1793 by me John Thorowgood, Protestant Dissenting Minister ^[2]

Research Notes

This Jemima was for many years believed to be the Jemima Parker marrying William Clinton in 1810 St Alphage, London Wall.

DNA matches led to a review of known information, and further information found that led to a change of tack on the origins of this latter Jemima. Henderson-2297 23:59, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
