Biography

Jane was born in 1775. Her parents were John and Martha Morgan. She was baptised[1]on 1 Oct 1775 at West Hatch in Somerset. In the baptism[2] record for her son William House it says that Jane was the wife of Robert House and the daughter of John Morgan of the parish of West Hatch. Jane had a sister called Sarah baptised on 16 Feb 1777 and on 28 April 1782 her sister Ann (born in 1780) and her brother John were both baptised. All the children were baptised in West Hatch.

Jane had two children before she married: Susannah in 1794 and James in 1796 both baptised at St Andrew in West Hatch.

Marriage

Jane married[3] Robert House on 13 Apr 1803 at North Curry. Robert was from West Hatch.

Jane and Robert had the following children:

Harriet House abt 1805 in West Hatch
William House 1807 Hatch Beauchamp

Death

Jane died on 8 Oct 1860 at Hatch Beauchamp. She was 88 years old and the widow of Robert House. The cause of death on her death certificate was "Old Age".
