Biography
Amanda (Morgan) Reynolds is a part of US Black heritage.
Amanda was born about 1841. She is the daughter of Nimrod Morgan and Nancy Unknown. Her parents were born enslaved in Virginia, moved to Kentucky, where they were able to purchase not only their freedom, but that of a few sons. They then moved to Springfield Township, Ohio, where Amanda was born free.
Amanda was married to George Reynolds in 1857. [1] Their children include:

- George Reynolds (1872)
- Ottie M. Reynolds (1874-1947)
- Lyman E. Reynolds (1878-1934
