Thomas was born in 1852 in Redruth, Cornwall, England. He passed away in 1930 in Blandford Twp, Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada. He arrived in New York from Liverpool with his family on the ship "Ontario" on April 4, 1857. By April 9th they were in Niagara Falls, Ontario when/where his mother gave birth to his brother, Martin Niagara Millar.
