James Menzies was born about 1642 in Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of Alexander Menzies and Margaret Stewart.

Occupation

• 5 Nov 1668 - Callander, Perthshire, Scotland. He was admitted Minister of Callander, being ordained on 5 Nov 1668, but was deprived by the Privy Council on 3 Oct 1689 for not praying for William and Mary. Despite this he continued to officiate until 11 Sep 1716.
