Birth
Alexander Menzies of Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland is estimated to have been born about 1605 in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of Robert Menzies and Christian Fergusson.
Alexander and his wife Margaret were the parents of the Pittentian, Schian, and Aberfeldy Menzies lineages; the Bolfracks Menzies lineage; and the Menzies of Garth, Woodend, and Invergowrie lineages.[1][2]
Marriage
Alexander Menzies of Aberfeldy married Margaret Stewart, eldest daughter of John Stewart of Dalguise, on 26 Nov 1624 in Scotland.[3] They had seven children during their marriage;
