Margaret's parents

IF James and Margaret followed the Scottish naming pattern we might expect Margaret's mother to be an Isabella.

It does however look to be a potential lead that there's a Catherine Meldrum with the family in the 1841 census.

The only Margaret Meldrum birth in the OPR 1800-1805 on ScotlandsPeople in Roxburghshire is an 1800 Margaret where no mother is shown. Father Andrew Meldrum in Newtown. This baptism being in Roxburgh.
