Biography

I was born.

In my spare time I find details of dead people that I'm related to - for fun.

I am descended from Richard Green who had children by 4 different women from 1784-1826. The women were all named "Ann". They were 3 wives and an unmarried cousin. It would be interesting if they were all at the same time - but they weren't.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions or problems, let me know.

Take care

Hi Andrew,

Thank you very much for sending me the record below, there is no way I would have found this.

Etienne David Felix Perichon married Francoise Mauricia Vinay on 12 May 1861 at Grand Port, Mauritius. http://www.cgmrgenealogie.org/actes/acte_mari.php?xid=268307&xct=6308

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for becoming pre-1700 certified. Now that you will be working on older profiles you will find yourself collaborating more with others. The best way to do this is by joining a project. Have a look at our list of pre-1700 projects and see if any are of interest to you. Give me a shout if you have any questions.

Thanks, Susie :-)

Thank you Andrew for merging the James Brown Profiles. You are obviously a descendant or somehow linked to the Browns, so, I'm wondering if you know the details of James' immigration to Australia. How, why & when. Whether he came free or not. Assisted or Unassisted Migration etc. I have checked the Convict Records site, but there is no way of knowing if he was one of those many James Browns transported and there is no clue on the Australian Royalty site other than an estimated date & his place of birth. The Beckett and Best families tended to marry Convicts or convict's children, not many other choices. :) If we could find a Census or Convict Muster with him and Mary Ann on it, it may give the ship & Year he arrived on, if he was a convict, but so far no luck. I have also found three possible birth records for James, but you may know who his parents are or have some idea of the correct date. Would you mind having a look at the sources under Research notes, please, and see if they fit? Your originally Profile had "uncertain 1819-05-00". There is a James Charles Brown born 19 May 1819 son of James Brown Mother's Name Mary Mcculloch that may be the one. There is also a J C Brown in a household of 1 Male & 1 Female living in Bathurst in the 1891 Census, but they may have moved before then as James died in Surry Hills. ??? Thanks, Eileen
