Donald McAdie, son of John McAdie and Isobel "Robeson", was born about 1819 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 1 August 1819.[1]

In 1841 Donald was living with his parents and other family members in Dunn, in the parish of Watten, Caithness.[2]
