Thomas was born in 1848. He passed away in 1882. Thomas Malcolm was born on June 28, 1848, in Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland, the son of Elisabeth and Alexander. He married Mary Simpson Agar in July 1873 in Sunderland, Durham, England. They had one child during their marriage.

Thomas Malcolm was a marine fireman from Scotland. He married Mary Simpson Agar in Q3 1873. They had one daughter Mary Ann Malcolm born 17 Aug 1874. On 23 Nov 1882 after a voyage from Sunderland to Reval (now Tallin), Estonia, he accidentally fell down the fore hatchway while disembarking and died from his injuries.
