Descendant
Bob Brodie has Irish ancestors.

The is biography for Robert Christopher Brodie.
In 1961 Robert was put in to the hospital for Rheumatic Fever. He was paralyzed on his lower extremities. There is no good explanation for his recovery.
On July 4th, 1972 he went to a party at his Brothers friends house. It was a good day. A great house in the Mountains above Kaimuki. When he finally left, he and his buddy had ingested lots of party things and ended up meeting a telephone pole. The telephone pole won. He was not found at the original crash site because he had been ejected from the vehicle. He Flew a distance, landed on his face, and smacked his head on a stone wall. He was found hours later by the person that had the house of the stone wall he hit. The ambulance came back and rushed him to Kapiolani Hospital. His heart stopped three times while he was on the operating table. He lost at least 5 minutes of Oxygen. In 2015 he is still going fine.

Hi Bob

It's time for a One Name Studies Project check-in!

Could you please advise me which One Name Studies you're still actively coordinating, i.e. maintaining the main study page and associated research pages, and replying to queries/comments from members.

You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you!

If I don’t receive your response within the next three weeks, I’ll assume that your interests have changed or you are no longer able to coordinate any One Name Studies, and you'll be removed from the project.

Regards

Jacqueline Baxter, ONS Project Co-Leader

Hello!

I noticed you created some Pre-1700 profiles. Trees and profiles from sites such as Geni, Geneanet, etc... are not acceptable sources for these profiles. The Peerage is not acceptable either. Here is the link to the Scotland Projects sourcing guidelines. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Scotland_Project_Reliable_Sources

The G2G forum is a great place to ask for help and advice.

Thanks!

Hi Bob, Checking out your info on my 3rd great grandfather Edward Brodie born around 1810 married Emily Davis in New Brunswick, Canada. He was born in Scotland. Do you have any more info on him? I also see a mistake in my line. And I can add my Dad and my Uncles names now that they have passed. This would be under the family of Herbert and Mildred Streeter Brodie. If you email me i can explain. Thank you Barb Brodie Kineke [email address removed]

Hi Bob,

Your 17th great grandmother Eleanor. Savage is my 19th great grandmother. Some years ago you helped me when I started here and I remember feeling disappointed when you said we did not have a connection,,,,,my grandmother was a Brodie but our connection isn't thru my maternal Brodie line but thru my father's Watson....Toole.....Forsyth.....Mason etc,etc line Just wanted to thank you again for helping me,,,,I will always be grateful

Brereton-5 is her ID

I just scrolled down to the bottom of your profile and clicked on 'genealogical relationship',,,so easy Peasey,,,,,,,,,so you didn't know,, you were just referring to a direct Brodie relationship when you said we weren't related?

Bob, your more than 1000 contributions for the month of August 2009 adds to the improvement of our Shared Tree. Thanks so much for all of your efforts.
