Biography

Ethel Colina Macrow was born in about 1886 possibly in Hobart Tasmania. She was the eldest daughter of Mr William Macrow and his wife Clara nee Shield. ^[1]

Ethel Colina (Dolly) Macrow married Victorian state and Australian Test Cricketer Vernon Ransford at the Camberwell Baptist Church on 27 April 1910. They would not be blessed with any children.

Ethel Ransford passed away in 1955 and is buried at the Brighton General Cemetery, Caulfield South, Victoria Australia. Her beloved Vernon passed away only a few years later and is buried with her.
