Does anyone know anything about the informant for Thomas' death?

Jane STRAITON, in attendance, of 22 St Michael St, Carlisle;

My first thought was that she might be daughter Jane, but if so, my current thinking that dtr Jane married William BLAIR and died in 1856 would have to be wrong!
