Janet Ker or Keir was born in 1645 in Innerwick, Haddingtonshire, Scotland.

Janet married Thomas Fairbairne (born in Innerwick on 22 September 1637), son of Thomas Fairbairne and Margrat Ker, on 10 June 1679 in Innerwick, Haddingtonshire[1].
