Biography

Paul was born Paul Kay on 10 August 1808 Haworth, Yorkshire & baptised Paul Kay on 13 September 1808 Haworth, St. Michael and All Angels, Yorkshire the son of Paul Kay & Mary. ^{[1] [2]}

The marriage after Banns of Paul Kay (weaver) [of this Parish] & Mary Balm (spinster) [of this Parish] was conducted on 7 June 1835, Bradford, Cathedral St. Peter, Yorkshire. ^[3]

A woolcomber & grocer in 1851 with wife Mary & children Sarah (15), James (14). Elizabeth (13), John (11), David (9), Hannah (7), Mary Jane (4), Thomas (2) living Nell Field Houses, Bingley, Yorkshire. ^[4]

He died Paul Kay on 3 June 1868, Saltaire, Bingley, Yorkshire.^{[5] [6]} & buried Paul Kay of Saltaire age 59 on 5 June 1868 Haworth, St. Michael and All Angels, Yorkshire ^[7]
