Research notes

Where and when was James born? Henderson-2297 00:44, 16 December 2023 (UTC)

It has been suggested that James is the one baptized 1772 Port of Mentieth to William Junkine and Catharine McGibbon.
BigY DNA results however disprove this. A descendant is an exact match to the two fifth cousins sharing the Stirlingshire line of William Junkin (1756-abt.1810) rather than the Perthshire line of William Junkine (1746-1838) married McGibbon.
