Beatrice (Howarth) Sparks was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England.

Beatrice was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England, on February 3, 1897.^[1] (Note...name mis-transcribed as Haworth). She was the daughter of Joseph Howarth and Elizabeth Kay. She was enumerated in the 1901 census ^[2] as a four year old residing with her parents and nine siblings at 79 Markland Hill Lane, Bolton. Her father's occupation "Gardener" (Domestic). The family was at the same location in 1911.^[3] Beatrice was fourteen and one of six children living at home. Three children of her married sister Harriet (Battersby) also at residence.

Beatrice married Frank Sparks in 1918.^[4] The marriage was registered in the fourth quarter in Bolton. It appears the couple had at least one child, Minnie, in 1919. Beatrice, Frank, and Minnie appeared in the 1939 Register^[5] residing at 48 Elgin Street, Bolton. Beatrice's occupation "Unpaid Domestic Duties".

Beatrice passed away on May 22, 1974.^[6] Her residence at time of death was 48 Elgin Street, Bolton. Her Probate was administered on June 14, 1974, in Manchester.
