Biography

Margaret Hog was born in 1717. She was christened on 16 July 1717 in Kingsbarns, Fifeshire, Scotland[1] to Thomas Hog and Agnis Reid[2].

She married George Grub on 29 October 1742 in Crail, Fife[3] and on 25 November 1742 in Kingsbarns Fife[4] The first date is more likely for reading of the Banns.

They had eight children together with her name being recorded as Christian for William Grub's Christening
