About 1775 she may have married George Tait, in 1776 they may have had a daughter, Barbara.
Research Notes
So far no evidence has been found of Joan either as the mother of Barbara or the husband of George apart from Ancestry Trees.
To further confuse things there were three Barbara Tait's born in Tingwall in 1776 and 1774 to either George, Robert or Laurence Tait.
