Nancy was born in 1801 in Bourbon, KY. She was the daughter of Turner Richardson Haden and Rebecca Cave. On 20 Dec 1815 she married John H Harris and they had 13 known children. By the mid-1820s they had moved from KY to MO, setting in Boone County. After John passed she moved west and as shown on the 1870 census, was living in Monmouth, Polk, Oregon. 10 years later, on the 1880 census she had moved farther west and settled in Columbia Washington. This is where she passed away in 1890. It is believed she was buried on the family homestead as would have been common at this time.
