David Lloyd George was born on 17 Jan 1863 at Chorlton-on-Medlock, Lancashire, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom and was baptised on 5 April 1863 in St Phillip, Salford, Lancashire, England. He was the son of of William David George, a Painter and Elizabeth Lloyd of 31 Hodson Street ^[1][2]

In the 1871 census David (age 7), Scholar, was the nephew of Richard Lloyd at Highgate, Llanystumdwy, Caernarfonshire, Wales.^[3]

In the 1881 census David (age 18), Solicitors Articled Clerk, was the unmarried nephew of Richard Lloyd in Tanygrisiau Terrace, Criccieth, Caernarvonshire, Wales.^[4]

David's marriage to Margaret Owen was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1888 in the Pwllheli district.^[5]

In the 1891 census David (age 28), Solicitor & M P, was the married head of household in Caernarfonshire, Wales.^[6]

In the 1901 census David (age 38), Solicitor, was the married head of household at 179 Trinity Road, Wandsworth, Surrey, England.^[7]

In the 1911 census David (age 48), Chancellor of Exchequer, was the married head of household at 11 Marie Place, Dover, Downing Street, Westminster, Middlesex, England.^[8]

David was granted the Freedom of the City of London on 8th March 1917.^[9]

His son. Richard Lloyd George married Roberta Freeman Macalpine on 9 April 1917 in Exeter, Devon, England.^[10]
