Elizabeth Amelia Frith was born on August 15, 1875 in Sandwich East Township, Essex, Ontario, Canada, daughter of William Henry Frith (1839–1917) and Elizabeth Amelia Thorne (1844–1934).^[1]

Elizabeth (28) married George Fairbairn (29) (born on October 22, 1874 in Maidstone Township, County Of Essex; son of George Milne Fairbairn and Jane (McDowell) Fairbairn) on November 25, 1903.^[2] Their children were:

FAIRBAIRN, Elizabeth (nee Frith) - Mrs. Elizabeth Fairbairn, 87. of Sandwich South, died Monday in Grace Hospital. Born in Sandwich South Township. she had lived in the area all her life. Mrs. Fairbairn was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and the United Church Women. She attended the Bethel United Church. Surviving are sons Roy and Lloyd, of Sandwich South; daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Margaret) Gullick, Mrs, Arthur (Helen) Greaves and Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Reeb, all of Sandwich South, Mrs. Maurice (Edith) Davison, of Wheatley, and Mrs. John (Bessie) Jenking, of La Salle; brOthers, Charles and Percy Frith, of Sandwich South; sisters, Mrs. Annie McKenzie and Mrs. Amy Collins, both of Sandwich South; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial was in North Ridge Cemetery.
