Biography

William was born in Fairfield, Utah Territory in 1866, the son of James L. (born in Kentucky) and Emma M. (born in England). William married Hannah McLane.

When Hannah died in 1943, they were living at 182 K Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. They had been living in SLC for 25 years. ^[1]

William was in the building construction industry. He lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for the last 35 years of his life. He died a widow, aged 88-89, at 107 F Street, SLC. He was not a veteran. The informant to his death was O.W. Flack, who lived with William at 182 K St., SLC. William had a coronary occulusion, and died three hours later. ^[2]

William is buried with his wife Hannah in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah. ^[3]
