Biography

James was born in 1792. He was the son of Robert Fairbairn and Elizabeth Crosbie. He is assumed to have died before 1841.

Baptized 11 Nov 1792 Smailholm, Roxburghshire, Scotland

entry reads: Robert Fairbairn and Isobel (sic) Crosbie had a son baptzied called James [1]
Despite the entry showing James' mother as Isobel, it seems highly likely she is more commonly known as Elizabeth - naming pattern of James and Janet's children for starters. Henderson-2297 22:01, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
