Emigrated from Scotland to Tasmania on the Ocean Chief, arriving in Hobart 25 March, 1855, with her husband Peter and five children born in Scotland. James is marked as ‘infant’ in the arrivals, and a Birth was registered in Hobart as 12 February 1855, so he may have been born onboard the ship.
