Biography

Peter Edgecombe of Tavistock, Devon was the son of Peter Edgecombe and Agnes (Edgecombe) Edgecombe.^[1][2][3][4] Based on his date of marriage, he was probably born about 1588.

Peter married Elizabeth Colwill on September 2, 1611 at St. Andrew church in Plymouth, Devon.^[5][2][1][3] Peter and Elizabeth settled in Plymouth, and Peter conducted mercantile activities of an unknown nature in both Plymouth and Tavistock.^[2]

Peter and Elizabeth had the following children:

Peter died in his early thirties and was buried October 2, 1621 at Plymouth St. Andrew.^[7][2][3]
