In 1663 daughter Jane Driggus had a child by an Irishman named Dennam Olandum. From this family would come the numerous mixed Landum or Landrum clan. Jane later married a free Black man named John Gussall. He died less than three years later and she married William Harman, a Black freeman by whom she had two children, Manuel and Francis. This Harman family also grew and prospered and became one of the larger families of the historic mixed communities and joined the clans of Driggus, Gowen and Landum.
